Corrections
What we got wrong, when we found out, and what we changed.
A material error is corrected in place, with a notice on the article saying what changed. The article keeps its URL — an article that quietly disappears is a second error on top of the first.
When an article cannot be repaired it is retracted. The URL still answers, carrying a record of what was published and why it was withdrawn, and the body is no longer served.
Typos, formatting, and link rot are fixed without a notice. This page lists material corrections only.
